During the meeting, Colonel-General of the Internal Service Ilya Denisov took part in a solemn event dedicated to the opening of the Zarnitsa training complex located on the territory of fire station No. 14. The training ground is situated at this place where employees of the emergency rescue unit of PJSC “Slavneft-YaNOS” and the fire departments of the Yaroslavl region train together.
The Deputy Minister also attended a demonstrative fire-tactical exercise designed to test the skills of the personnel of the Yaroslavl local fire and rescue garrison and the operational units of PJSC “Slavneft-YANOS” in extinguishing fires and conducting rescue operations at the enterprise's facilities.
According to the legend of the training course, an oil product caught fire in the tank of workshop No. 12, which caused a gas explosion, which led to the injury of one of the employees of the enterprise. The task of the participants in a conditional situation was to practice the actions of special forces in extinguishing a fire, including the use of air-mechanical foam, in carrying out rescue operations and providing first aid to the “victim”.
The training courses were held at a good professional level and showed the well-coordinated work of all participants in the event which was highly appreciated by Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Ilya Denisov.
The work of the staff of PJSC “Slavneft-YANOS” in the field of civil defense, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations was also noted by a representative of the department. Nikolai Karpov, General Director of the enterprise, was presented with a letter of gratitude in which the Deputy Minister thanked the head of YANOS for cooperation in the field of civil defense, prevention and elimination of emergency situations.
“Under your leadership, the fire and industrial safety of the refinery is at a high level, and decent working conditions have been created for employees,” the document says.
In a welcoming speech addressed to all participants in the tactical exercise, Nikolai Karpov congratulated the employees of the fire departments of the Yaroslavl Region on the 50th anniversary of their service.

And the new educational and training complex will become a reliable help in acquiring the necessary skills in this activity, - emphasized Nikolai Karpov.
