The new educational center was created as part of the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Yaroslavl Region and PJSC “Slavneft-YANOS” and it is intended to improve the quality of personnel training for the leading enterprise in the region.
In addition to students of Yaroslavl State Technical University, students of the Yaroslavl Industrial and Economic College and engineering YANOS classes of lyceum No. 86, educational institutions involved in a unified system of targeted training for YANOS, will also be able to study here.
The “YANOS-Technology” Center includes a computer-training class with modern software that allows you to simulate existing process control systems at PJSC “Slavneft-YANOS”; classroom with demonstration stands and mock-ups for studying equipment and technologies used in production; as well as a chemical laboratory equipped with instruments and devices for studying the properties of petroleum products. The complex project also includes a recreation area where students can prepare for lectures, communicate and spend free time.
- We pay great attention to the development of the personnel potential of the enterprise. Since 2008, a targeted training program for PJSC “Slavneft-YANOS” has been operating on the basis of Yaroslavl State Technical University, according to which more than 100 Yaroslavl State Technical University graduates have been trained. Most of them work today at YANOS, ” said Nikolai Karpov, Director General of PJSC “Slavneft-YANOS”.
Practice-oriented (dual) training of engineering personnel is the main direction of the development of professional education. The new educational equipment of the “YANOS-technology” center of the Yaroslavl State Technical University will increase the efficiency of training young specialists, equip them with practical knowledge and skills as much as possible, and adapt scientific and research activities to solving problems of real industrial production.
