JSC “Slavneft-YANOS” is the initiator of Russian Championship in snowmobiles sprint-cross
On 20th - 21st February Russian Championship in snowmobiles sprint-cross organized by JSC “Slavneft-YANOS” and Motorcycle Federation of Russia was held in Yaroslavl.
The competition was held on specially constructed track 950 m long in closed circle with artificial spring-boards and obstacles.
30 sportsmen took part in this competition, among them the leaders in snowmobile sport from Novy Urengoy, St.Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Kirov, Moscow Region.
The winner of two days racing and super final was Maxim Shevchenko (STK “Yamburg”, Novy Urengoy. The second place was given to Alexei Bikov (“BrandtPolaris”, St.Petersburg, the third place to Sergei Romanenko (STK “Yamburg”, Novy Urengoy. The representative of STK “Atlant” (Yaroslavl) Denis Ryazantsev was the fourth. Another sportsmen of Yaroslavl Club Roman Orekhov was in the sixth place.
JSC “Slavneft-YANOS” has organized the competition on mobile sprint-cross for the four years. During this period a lot of fans of this spectacular sport appeared in Yaroslavl. The company supports sports technical club “Atlant” and sports sections for children.
