Alexander Nikitin was appointed as General Director of JSC “Slavneft-YANOS”

On January 25 an unscheduled general meeting of JSC "Slavneft-YANOS" shareholders took place and new General Director of the Refinery was selected in course of this meeting. Alexander Nikitin was appointed at this position, he has been acting temporarily as General Director since December 21, 2012.       

An unscheduled general meeting of JSC "Slavneft-YANOS" shareholders was held in a form of extra-mural voting. The list of shareholders for participation in the meeting was prepared in compliance with the register data of December 18, 2012.

Alexander Nikitin succeeded on this position Alexander Knyazkov who was appointed in the end of December 2012 as the First Deputy of the Governor and Head of the Government of Yaroslavl region.

Alexander Anatolievich Nikitin was born in 1962. He graduated from Chemical and Process Faculty of Industrial Institute in Tyumen. From 1985 until 1993 he has been working in Engineering Industrial company "Orgneftechimzavody", as a member of engineer commissioning teams he was in charge of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the new process units and industrial complexes at Russian Refineries in Novokuibyshevsk, Groznyi, Khabarovsk, Mazhekyay, Tengiz and Yaroslavl.

In year 1993 he was invited to PO "Yaroslavnefteorgsintez" as a Deputy Head of Workshop №3. He has been working at YANOS for about 20 years, was in different managing positions, i.e. from the Head of the Workshop to Chief Engineer - Member of the Directors Board of the Refinery. From August until December 2012 he has been working as a Deputy General Director - Technical Director of JSC "Gazpromneft - MNPZ" (Moscow Refinery).
